Our Zero-Data-Selling Guarantee

Your studio data, client phone numbers, event contracts, and photo assets belong to you alone. Lens Docket will NEVER sell, monetize, or share your data with advertising networks.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to deliver our studio ERP software. This includes: (a) Studio Account Data: Your name, business name, studio address, GSTIN, email, and contact number; (b) Customer & Operational Data: Client contact lists, event shoot dates, project workflows, uploaded digital contracts, invoice amounts, and staff attendance details; and (c) Automated Data: Device type, browser environment, IP address, and platform usage metrics collected via essential session logs.

2. How We Use Your Data

Lens Docket processes your data strictly to operate and enhance your studio management experience. Specifically, we use data to: (a) generate GST-compliant invoices and digital quotes; (b) send client notification triggers (such as WhatsApp status updates); (c) manage team access roles; (d) process subscription payments; and (e) provide responsive customer support. We NEVER sell or monetize your studio or client data to third-party advertisers.

3. Data Security & Encryption Architecture

Security is built into the core of Lens Docket. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using Industry-Standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL). Data stored in our databases is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption standards. Production database access is strictly restricted to authorized engineers under multi-factor authentication.

4. Data Sharing & Sub-Processors

We only share information with vetted third-party service providers ("sub-processors") necessary to deliver the Service. These include cloud infrastructure hosting (AWS/Cloudflare), payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe), and messaging APIs (WhatsApp Business Solution Providers). All sub-processors operate under strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and confidentiality obligations.

6. Cookies & Session Storage

Lens Docket utilizes essential authentication cookies and session state storage to keep you signed in securely and remember user preferences. We also use privacy-focused analytics cookies to understand how the platform performs. You can manage or disable cookies through your web browser settings, though essential cookies are required for platform functionality.

7. Data Retention & Your Rights

You retain full control over your personal and studio data. Under applicable privacy regulations, you have the right to: (a) access and export your client lists and financial records; (b) update or rectify inaccurate information; (c) request permanent deletion of your account and associated records (Right to be Forgotten). Account deletion requests can be initiated from your dashboard or by emailing privacy@lensdocket.com.

8. Amendments to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform capabilities. Material updates will be communicated to studio administrators via email or prominent in-app notifications prior to the changes taking effect.
