1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using Lens Docket ("the Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a photography studio, agency, or enterprise entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lens Docket provides a specialized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform for photography businesses, studio managers, and creative freelancers. Features include CRM and lead pipeline tracking, project and shoot calendar planning, GST-compliant invoicing, digital agreements with e-signatures, team attendance and HRMS, payment logs, and cloud gallery storage. We continuously improve our software and reserve the right to modify, update, or enhance features over time.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use Lens Docket, you must create a studio account with accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Lens Docket immediately at security@lensdocket.com upon discovering any unauthorized access or breach of security.

4. Subscription Plans, GST & Billing

Lens Docket offers Free, Starter, Growth, Business, and Enterprise subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual billing cycle. All listed prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18%. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

You retain 100% ownership of all client records, event shoot details, uploaded contracts, invoices, and photo assets ("Customer Data") that you upload to Lens Docket. Lens Docket claims no intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide license solely to host, backup, and process your Customer Data for the purpose of operating the Service.

6. Acceptable Use & Code of Conduct

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Lens Docket; (b) use automated bots or scrapers to extract platform data; (c) bypass authentication mechanisms or probe system vulnerabilities; (d) use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or unlawful content; or (e) resell access to third parties without prior written consent.

7. Digital Agreements & E-Signatures

Lens Docket facilitates digital contract execution between photography studios and their clients. You acknowledge that electronic signatures submitted through Lens Docket are intended to bind the parties under applicable Information Technology acts. Studios are responsible for ensuring their contract terms comply with local legal standards.

8. Uptime & Limitation of Liability

We strive to maintain a 99.9% uptime for Lens Docket. However, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lens Docket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.

9. Account Termination & Data Export

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation or account termination, you will be granted a 30-day grace period to export your client records, invoices, and project history in CSV/JSON format. After 30 days, Lens Docket reserves the right to permanently purge inactive account data.

10. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi, India. If you have questions regarding these Terms, please contact us at legal@lensdocket.com.
